Athletics Trophies

Athletics Trophies – Engraved Track and Field Awards

Whether your athletes are sprinting for the finish line, soaring over the high jump bar or launching a javelin towards a new personal best, their achievements deserve recognition. At Sports Trophy Co, we supply athletics trophies and awards for schools, athletics clubs, sports days, track and field competitions and running events across the UK.

From junior school sports days to competitive athletics meetings, our athletics trophies are ideal for celebrating winners, recognising individual performances and rewarding the dedication that goes into every training session. Choose awards for track events, field events, cross-country running and club championships, with engraving options to make each trophy personal. Because not everyone can take home a gold medal, but everyone can enjoy a good trophy presentation!

Engraved Athletics Trophies for Clubs, Schools and Competitions

Make your prize-giving extra special with engraved athletics trophies from Sports Trophy Co. Personalised engraving can help commemorate the event, recognise the winner and record the achievement for years to come. Depending on the trophy you choose, you can add details such as the athlete's name, event, competition title, club or school and year. Our athletics awards are suitable for athletics clubs, school sports days, inter-school competitions, local track and field meetings and annual presentation evenings.

Whether you need individual trophies for event winners or a selection of awards for a full day's competition, there are options to suit different events and budgets. Recognise first, second and third place, reward the best overall athlete or celebrate the person who has made the biggest improvement throughout the season. After all, a personal best is worth celebrating, even if the stopwatch says there is still work to do!

Track Athletics Trophies for Sprinting Events

When the starting pistol fires, every fraction of a second counts. Sprint events demand explosive speed, fast reactions and a strong finish, making them perfect occasions for a trophy presentation. Our athletics trophies are suitable for sprint competitions, including the 100m, 200m and 400m, as well as relay races such as the 4 × 100m and 4 × 400m. Recognise the fastest athletes, celebrate winning relay teams or present awards for outstanding performances at school sports days and club championships.

Engraved sprint trophies make excellent prizes for junior and senior athletes alike. Add the event name and year to create a lasting reminder of a race well run. And for anyone who claims they were just warming up, there's always next year's competition!

Middle-Distance Running Trophies

Middle-distance races combine speed, stamina and tactical judgement. Athletes need to pace themselves, find the right moment to make their move and still have enough left for a powerful finish. Choose athletics trophies for middle-distance competitions, including the 800m and 1500m, along with other club and school running events. These awards are ideal for athletics clubs, school championships, open meetings and multi-event competitions.

Present trophies and athletics medals to race winners, runners-up and athletes who achieve personal bests. You could also recognise the most consistent middle-distance runner or the athlete who has made the greatest progress during the season. Whether the race is won with a dramatic final sprint or a perfectly judged performance from start to finish, make sure the achievement gets the recognition it deserves.

Long-Distance Running Trophies
Long-distance running is all about endurance, determination and keeping going when your legs are asking for a committee meeting. From track races to longer running competitions, athletes put in countless training miles to reach the finish line.

Our athletics awards and athletics cups are suitable for long-distance track events such as the 3000m and 5000m, as well as distance-running competitions organised by schools and athletics clubs. You can recognise the overall winner, the leading junior athlete, age-group champions or the runner who has achieved a personal best. For events that include cross-country races or road-running challenges, consider awards that recognise the top finishers and outstanding individual performances. A personalised athletics trophy provides a lasting reminder of the effort behind the result.

Field Event Trophies – Jumping and Throwing Awards

Track events are only half the story. Field athletics tests power, technique, timing and coordination, with athletes competing to jump higher, leap further or throw further than their rivals. Sports Trophy Co offers a range of glass athletics awards and athletics shields that can be selected for suitable athletics field events. Add engraving details to make the award relevant to your competition.

High Jump Trophies
Celebrate athletes who clear the bar with high jump trophies for school sports days, athletics clubs and track and field championships. High jump rewards technique, speed and courage, particularly when the bar keeps moving higher. Recognise the event winner or the athlete who achieves a new personal best.

Long Jump Trophies
The long jump is all about acceleration, take-off technique and landing distance. Present long jump trophies to athletes who reach the podium or achieve an impressive new distance. Engraving the event and competition year makes the award a lasting reminder of a great performance.

Triple Jump Trophies
The triple jump requires a carefully controlled hop, step and jump, combining speed, rhythm and explosive power. Triple jump trophies are ideal for school athletics competitions, club meetings and championship events. Reward the winner and celebrate athletes who have improved their technique and distance.

Pole Vault Trophies
Pole vault is one of the most spectacular field events, demanding speed, strength, coordination and plenty of nerve. Recognise successful performances with athletics trophies for pole vault competitions, whether at a school meeting or an established athletics club event.

Relay Race and Team Athletics Trophies
Athletics might look like an individual sport, but relay racing proves that teamwork matters. A fast runner still needs a reliable team and a smooth baton change to get the job done.

Choose athletics trophies for relay events, school house competitions, inter-club meetings and team championships. Awards can recognise the winning relay squad, the best-performing team or the overall school or club that collects the most points across the meeting. Engraved team trophies are ideal for annual competitions and travelling trophies that pass between winning schools or clubs. Include the event name and year so the achievement can be remembered long after the baton has been handed over.

School Sports Day and Junior Athletics Trophies

School sports days are a fantastic opportunity to encourage participation, celebrate effort and introduce young people to the excitement of athletics. From the first sprint to the final relay, a trophy can help make the occasion memorable. Our athletics and multisport trophies are suitable for primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and youth athletics clubs. Recognise sprint winners, distance runners, jumpers, throwers and relay teams, or present awards for the best overall athlete in each year group.

You could also introduce trophies for most improved athlete, outstanding effort, team spirit or determination. Not every child will finish first, but every child can be encouraged to keep trying, keep improving and enjoy being active. With suitable engraving, school sports day trophies can include the school name, house colour, event and year. They make great keepsakes for pupils and provide a little extra motivation for next year's competition.

Athletics Club Championships and Annual Awards

For athletics clubs, an annual presentation evening is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the season's achievements. Athletics trophies can recognise championship winners, club records, age-group performances and athletes who have shown commitment throughout the year. Consider awards for:

Athlete of the Year – for an outstanding overall contribution.
Track Athlete of the Year – recognising performances across running events.
Field Athlete of the Year – celebrating jumping and throwing achievements.
Best Sprinter – for speed over the shorter distances.
Best Middle-Distance Runner – recognising pace and race tactics.
Best Distance Runner – for endurance and consistency.
Most Improved Athlete – rewarding progress and hard work.
Junior Athlete of the Year – encouraging young talent.
Relay Team of the Year – celebrating teamwork and combined effort.
Coaches' Award – recognising dedication, attitude and sportsmanship.

Add engraved details to make each award personal to your club. And don't forget the volunteers and coaches who keep everything running smoothly – without them, the only thing crossing the finish line might be the paperwork!
